Comat was involved in design and development of the application. This application enables schools to import records as per Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) record formats. Its engine allows for auto applying correct state rates, codes, and rules when generating claims. The reporting module enabled reports based on different administration and user levels.

There was a significant reduction in administrative cost with the tool enabled to optimize creation of electronic claims. We at Comat demonstrated a faster learning curve to implement HIPAA record formats and to generate audit trail to defend revenue against billed claims.

There was also an obvious increase in productivity that was in tune with our client’s goal to provide easy-to-use software solutions curtailing burden of paperwork and helping educator to focus improving student achievement.

The solution was developed using C#, .NET framework, Crystal Reports, XML, SQL Server 2000.
