Mr. Mascarenhas is a widely traveled entrepreneur with interests in several sectors including agriculture and Information Technology. He has over 30 years of rich experience in building business in various sectors. He is currently the Chairman at Comat, the Director, Janamadhayama Prakashana Limited and Partner at Chandravalli Estate, Hosagadde Estate and Karhesia Estate. Significant positions held in the past include being the Chairman, Mysore Coffee Limited and Bababudin Coffee Limted, the Director of the National Co-operative Bank Limited and a Member of the Coffee Board.

Ms. Dimple Sahni is currently the Manager, Investments, Omidyar Network. She brings extensive experience in investment banking, technology, emerging markets, and venture capital. Before Omidyar Network, Ms. Sahni was a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 10 and served her fellowship at L Capital in New York City. Previously, she focused on clean technologies as a strategic consultant to Everything About Water (EAW) in India. Ms. Sahni co-founded Epylon.com, an IT services company directed at the public sector, which was sold to Accenture in 2001. She began her career at Goldman Sachs as an investment-banking analyst.

Mr. Sandeep Farias is the Managing Director of Elevar Equity and was most recently Chief Innovation Officer and India Head at Unitus. His proficiency lies in providing strategic operational advice and board guidance on the microfinance industry. Mr. Farias also serves on the boards of microfinance companies, Bharatha Swamukti Samsthe (BSS) and Ujjivan Financial Services. Previously, he headed the corporate sector practice at Nishith Desai Associates (a leading Indian law firm) across Mumbai, Bangalore and Palo Alto, where he led mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, foreign direct investment, and venture capital and private equity investments. Mr. Farias also founded and led the social sector practice at the firm. The work that he and his team did for the American India Foundation following the Gujarat earthquake, received the International Financial Law Review’s Asian Law Firm of the Year (Pro Bono) Award in 2001.

Mr. Vishal Kapur is currently Investment Manager at Avigo Capital. He has extensive experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Restructuring and Business Performance Improvement. Prior to joining Avigo, Mr. Kapur worked with the Boston Consulting Group (India) and Booz Allen Hamilton (USA) specializing in operations and corporate strategy.

Mr. Sriram Raghavan is a pioneer in providing government and private information services to citizens across rural India. He has traveled extensively across rural India and brings an astute insight on rural communities and their needs. Mr. Raghavan has been a successful advisor and mentor to non-profit organizations including the Sustainable Business Institute and Startup EPA, both based in Silicon Valley, USA. He has also worked with Fortune 100 companies and assisted startups in the Bay area. Mr. Raghavan has been invited by the Government of India and plays a crucial role in strategizing several policy initiatives at state and national levels. He also works closely with Poverty Action Lab at MIT and academia from Harvard. Mr. Raghavan is also the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Comat.

Mr. Ravi Rangan is a visionary with the combined qualities of an astute businessman and a qualified technologist. His expertise lies in Software Engineering and Business Process Outsourcing and he has vast experience in delivering comprehensive business strategy and technology solutions for clients worldwide. Mr. Rangan has immense knowledge of the governance and regulatory structure of state governments across India. As an e-Governance pioneer, he has been instrumental in the design, architecture and implementation of several path breaking concepts and processes that have radically improved transparency in governance and delivery of citizen services. Mr. Rangan is also the Vice-Chairman and co-founder of Comat.
